Journey Records Signs Jenny Engel

Nashville, TN – Zane King, President of Journey Records, announced today the signing of Jenny Engel to the Journey Records label. Jenny Engel resides in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and has been performing Christian music for many years. The first radio single “Seven Days Without Prayer” has been shipped to Christian radio stations. The first recording project entitled “Greater Faith” has recently been released and is available at Christian retailers and Journey Records.

Zane King states, “Jenny’s voice is absolutely captivating and her sincerity shines through in every line she sings.” “I love producing artists that could have easily had success in the secular field. Hope’s Call Joins Compassion International

Nashville, TN – Zane King, of Compassion International, announced today that Hope’s Call of Murfreesboro, TN has entered into an agreement with Compassion International. Compassion International is a Christian relief organization that focuses on lifting children out of poverty in Jesus’ name. Hope’s Call is a family music ministry that has been traveling full time for several years throughout the United States and Canada. They are best known for their song, “You Are Loved” that reached the Top 10 in several Christian music charts. Their most recent single, “Singing Heaven’s Song” is topping industry charts nationwide as well.

Zane King Joins Compassion International

Nashville, TN – Zane King, President of Journey Records, announced today that he has entered into an agreement with Compassion International with home offices based from Colorado Springs, Colorado. Compassion is a child development organization that focuses on lifting children out of poverty in Jesus’ name. Zane King and Journey Records will be developing a roster of predominantly Southern Gospel artists that will participate with Compassion’s marketing program.

Zane King states, “I am so encouraged about Compassion’s commitment to our industry. We have had so many artists over the past year that has struggled and some have even stopped performing. An artist that partners with Compassion is going to benefit in a variety of ways, but most of all I think the strengths and blessings of this organization is going to help anyone who is connected within this ministry. “Compassion is simply the most well designed ministry focused on the Great Commission that I have witnessed”, King adds.

Legacy Five, a gospel quartet based from Nashville, TN has been doing Compassion presentations for that past year in various concerts. More artists will be announced in the near future that will be joining the Compassion team.

Zane King, Founder & President of the Smyrna, Tennessee based record label, Journey Records, appears on the December issue of The Singing News magazine's Trade Review. The Trade Review is the Gospel Music industry's tool book for radio DJ's, Promotors, and Industry leaders.

This is Zane's sophomore appearance on the Trade Review but graces the cover solo for the first time.
